Who is h.u.s.t.l.e.?

It all started
with Social media

Our founder, Troy Sandifer, started H.U.S.T.L.E. Recovery on May 1, 2020 with a single facebook post. That morning he was contacted by the mother of his friend Josh Bartley to inform him that Josh has passed away from a fentanyl overdose. With a heavy heart Troy made a facebook post. He told his community that if they were struggling with addiction they didn’t have to die. He encouraged people to reach out and ask for help.

We do whatever it takes

At the time Troy had no clue how to get people into treatment. He began to simply make phone calls and connections with treatment centers across Tennessee. Today H.U.S.T.L.E. Recovery works with over 40 different licensed and faith based treatment centers in the state. H.U.S.T.L.E. Recovery has also developed relationships with over 100 recovery residences and sober living environments.

H.U.S.T.L.E. Recovery has the ability to navigate people to treatment with or without insurance. Once we have facilitated admission into a treatment facility, we take things a step further by providing sober companion transport. In the last 2 years, H.U.S.T.L.E. Recovery has been able to facilitate admissions for over 2500 people and in the last 12 months we have logged over half a million miles in sober companion transports.

We promote Treatment
over incarceration

At the end of inpatient treatment H.U.S.T.L.E. Recovery works with Discharge Planners to navigate people to their next level of needed care. H.U.S.T.L.E. Recovery works with many justice involved people, attorneys, judges, district attorney’s offices, forensic social workers, and justice liaisons to assist in the furlough process in a effort to encourage treatment over Incarceration.

H.U.S.T.L.E. Recovery also assists many organizations such as hospitals, non-profit organizations, community outreach programs, and individuals to help all those in need find recovery resources. The goal of H.U.S.T.L.E. Recovery is to knock down barriers and to help people grow emotionally, physically, and spiritually.
